Rinaldo Di Pietrantonio is alive in Milan and is the brother of Mariano Di Pietrantonio now living in Fallascoso. Domenico Olivieri died in Canada. Getullio Di Martino died in ?? and is the father of Doralice now living in Fallascoso with her husband Donato Di Pietrantonio. Nicholas Di Pietrantonio is alive living in France.

Minister for War Umberto of Savoy Prince of Piemonte Lieutenant General of the Kingdom by His Decree Dated 13th July 1945 in view of the Royal Decree of 4th November 1932 No 1423 and later modifications; in view of the Royal Decree of 23rd October 1942 No 1195; on the proposal of the Minister the Secretary of State for Affairs of War; has conferred the Bronze Medal for military valour
with an associated payment of Three hundred Lire annually to the Sergeant Major of the Patriots Group from the Maiella - 1st Company. Domenico Olivieri of Bambino, from Torricella Peligna (Chieti) "Patriot: commander of the squadron which took part in all the operations against the Germans that took the Maiella Band as far as the River Sanio. Particularly
he distinguished himself in the risky patrolling actions that he carried out for a good four months which kept the enemy at a distance from the very forward position of the stronghold of Falloscoso, the defence of which had been left only to a group of patriots. He did not show any less valour in the campaign carried out by the Band in the Marche. At Pesaro, encircled by predominantly enemy forces he managed to save himself and his men from certain capture, with daring and cold blood." Pesaro 2nd September 1944.
